Life today is hectic. Our life is consumed by responsibilities, deadlines, and things that "have to be done".
Sometimes we are so busy working and doing tasks that we neglect the simple things in life.
Here's a way to find some down time. Plan a trip to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina for a day or two of rising early,
not because you have to, but because it's what you desire. You want to see the sunrise over the coastal marshes of Bogue
Sound. You want to see an egret get his breakfast the way birds have done since the beginning of time. You want to feel
the water under your feet as you slide across the sound on your way to a day without cell phones or deadlines, where the only
pressure is to decide what beverage to consume or which rod and reel combo will suit your need for the day.
My Name is Bud Wegner and I am a US Coast Guard licensed Charter Captain. I provide Hunting, Fishing and Wildlife Adventures
throughout North Carolina. I have over 35 years of experience in the outdoors. As a prior service Marine, my experiences
in learning to adapt and overcome obstacles have been a benefit in my pursuit of saltwater fish and large and small game all
over North America.
My goal in this business is about developing relationships and sharing my appreciation of the outdoors with my clients.
One of the first rules of chasing wild creatures of any kind on this earth is you must be flexible. Your goal in booking
an adventure with me should be two-fold. First, relaxing and removing yourself, even if only temporarily, from the grind
of life. Second, the willingness to create some great memories from the experience that you can wander back to in your mind
for years to come.
